2013 Fall Golf Tournament
October 17 at Santee National Golf Course
The prestigious Santee National Golf Course will be the scene of the 2013 Captain’s Choice Fall Golf Tournament of the Tri-County Regional Chamber of Commerce on Thursday, October 17, 2013, followed by food, fun and fellowship during the Awards Ceremony/Business After Hours from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in The Grille at Santee National, sponsored by Holcim (US) Inc. and the Piggly Wiggly of Holly Hill.
The tournament, which will begin with a shotgun start promptly at 1:30 p.m., will be limited to 25 teams. “We had a great Chamber tournament in the spring, and we fully expect our fall tournament to be an event to remember for all participants,” Chamber Board President Chasity S. Avinger said. “The Tri-County Chamber and our first rate member golf courses are known far and wide for offering golfers great networking opportunities and fantastic golf outings. So, please make plans to join us.” Registration begins at noon.
"The Chamber issues an open invitation to individual golf enthusiasts and to four-man teams who would like to participate in the tournament. The cost for 18 holes of golf, cart fee, greens fee, beverages during play, great prizes, goody bags and a delicious dinner during the awards presentation at Business After Hours is $75 per person. The cost for being a hole sponsor (for putting a large advertising sign at a hole on the course) is $50. Mulligans cost $5 each, with a limit of two per player," added Executive Director Teresa Hatchell.
The tournament is open to golfers from throughout the state. And we encourage our Chamber members to sign their colleagues and friends up to play with us on October 17. The presentation of great golf awards and door prizes will follow the tournament during the Chamber’s Awards Ceremony/Business After Hours. Please note that Santee National Golf Course is located on Old Highway Number Six in Santee. (Take I-95 Exit 98 and head toward Elloree. Santee National Golf Course is on the left, just before the road to Santee State Park.)

Please note that tournament proceeds go back into the community via the Tri-County Regional Chamber’s many workforce, economic development, business support and community development projects and programs," President Avinger added.
